Be careful of the (patent) sizing!
My first pair of Docs and I am slightly disappointed because they are too small. I tried on a friends pair of size 3, non-patent Dr Martens and they fit snugly, so I thought that size 4 would be fine. However, I bought the white patent ones in size 4 and they are too tight for me, even after a few months of breaking in. When they first arrive they are VERY stiff and painful but I was relieved to find out that they softened up within a day or two. However, they definitely do not stretch in terms of sizing and I can still barely just wear them with tights, despite being a size 4 in all shoes, whether they be heels, boots or trainers.
Basically: I can't speak for non-patent sizing but DEFINTELY get a size up for the patents unless you want to suffer from pain and squashed toes!

These were my first pair of docs, ordered them with a january trip to new york in mind, the delivery was very fast and i started to wear them straight away to wear them in, I did get blisters from the first time wearing them but after that they were really comfy. They were great for the freezing cold new york, waterproof and extremely comfy for all the walking i did all week, definately better than fake Ugg boots my mates had that gave them blisters from all the walking and their feet got soaked when it snowed!!!

I just got these boots in bright red and I instantly fell in love with them. They are a bit stiff but I'm sure they'll brake with wear and they warmed up my feet nicely the minute I put them on.
I'm a standard size 5 but decided to order them in size 6 and I'm glad of my decision as they are a perfect fit; so probably in my regular size they would have been tight.
I especially loved their air sole as it makes walking easier.
I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable yet stylish pair of boots at an excellent price.
